Boston MBTA Subway Map

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) operates Boston's subway system, known locally as the 'T'. It consists of four main lines: Red Line, Orange Line, Blue Line, and Green Line (with branches B, C, D, and E). The system began operation in 1897 with the Green Line, making it the oldest subway system in the United States. Today, the MBTA subway serves over 1 million passengers daily across the Greater Boston area.
