Cairo Metro Map
The Cairo Metro is the rapid transit system serving Cairo, the capital of Egypt. It consists of three operational lines (Line 1, Line 2, and Line 3) with additional lines under construction. The system began operation in 1987 with the opening of Line 1, making it the first metro system in Africa and the Arab world. As of 2023, the operational network spans approximately 77.9 kilometers with 74 stations and serves about 3.5 million passengers daily, making it one of the busiest metro systems in Africa and the Middle East.
