Rio de Janeiro Metro Map

The Rio de Janeiro Metro, officially known as MetrôRio, is the rapid transit system serving Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It consists of three operational lines (Lines 1, 2, and 4). The system began operation in 1979 with the opening of Line 1. As of 2023, the operational network spans approximately 58 kilometers with 41 stations and serves about 900,000 passengers daily, making it the second-busiest metro system in Brazil after São Paulo.
