Buenos Aires Underground Map
The Buenos Aires Underground, locally known as Subte (short for 'subterráneo'), is the rapid transit system serving Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. It consists of six operational lines (A, B, C, D, E, and H) with additional lines under planning. The system began operation in 1913 with the opening of Line A, making it the first underground railway in Latin America and the Southern Hemisphere. As of 2023, the operational network spans approximately 56.7 kilometers with 90 stations and serves about 1.5 million passengers daily.
